My lessons are tailored to suit the individual needs of each of my students. I teach my students all genres of music, particularly the types of music that they enjoy/request as I believe this compliments their learning.

I have taught many students over the years, of all ages, and have found from experience that creating a specially-tailored course of lessons for each student is the way I can enthuse and inspire that student to go on to practice at home. This means that my drum pupils learn to play the drums through the music that they are passionate about and listen to at home.

You certainly can. I offer non-compulsory courses for grades 1-8, enabling students to gain great achievements as well as bagging some extra UCAS points when applying to university.
Absolutely, there are some great left-handed drummers out there - Dominic Howard (Muse), Phil Collins (Genesis) and Travis Barker (Blink-182) who leads with his left hand on a right-handed kit to name a few. I would be more than happy to teach you to play the drums if you are left-handed.
One to one lessons are still available in person, but social distancing measures have been introduced to ensure the safety of all participants and in accordance with Musician’s Union guidelines. The teaching studio is a large and well ventilated space. It now has two drum kits set up more than two metres apart, allowing for demonstration without the sharing of equipment. There is now at least a half hour gap between each lesson taught, in order to clean all contact points properly and to minimise the amount of people in the building at any one time. Those taking lessons are required to wear a mask and to bring their own drumsticks if possible.
I am always taking on new students so please do not hesitate to get in touch.
